Celebrate with us as we say adiós to the master before he leaves our shores forever.
On Saturday 17 & 24 March, the Gallery will stay open until midnight with late viewings of the exhibition Picasso: masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris and a host of free events that go well into the night.
We kick off at 3pm on both days with interactive tours for kids. Enjoy colourful flamenco dancers in the central court, the ever popular Monsieur Camembert performing live, artist talks and films, and the intriguing Picasso’s Path tour. You can also experience the Members Lounge as it opens its doors to all with live entertainment from 3pm.
The restaurant and ArtBar are also open late with live music, a Spanish-themed dinner and sangria.
Give your own nod to the master by wearing his favourite attire – stripes. Our spotters will be in the crowd waiting to award prizes to both adults and kids with the most stripey, striking or fun outfit.
We strongly recommend that you pre-purchase a timed-entry ticket to the exhibition. To book, visit www.ticketek.com.au/picasso or call 132 849.
